Introducing Lord Deathington and Smithy
So… This is a present I doodled for my dear friend Dave. We came up with these characters one morning after a night of debauchery and whatnot. We awoke from our slumber upon another friend’s floor and stumbled out onto the streets of our fair city. We had tea and coffee in a cafe. We then went for smoothies to ease our noodled noggins. So, high on fructose, we decided to go to an art gallery! Where we saw a painting by Jack B Yeats that quite tickled our fancy. It showed a very pallid gentleman standing beside a table in a fine room decorated with many paintings. “What a creepy fellow”, we mused. We dubbed him Lord Deathington and decided that all the paintings in the background were of ladies he had seduced and then murdered. Nearby there was a painting of a man digging in a field who we decided was Smithy the gravedigger. We then had much fun of the bad pun variety making up little stories about dear Deathington.
